The Mercedez Benz that regally floats by you everytime in Banjara hills… is the reason you keep paying more for your fuel.
How,You ask?
Read on…
Well, Fuel being a commodity with limited supply and huge demand and Benzes and the Bentleys being the cars which don’t care much for fuel efficiency (Sometimes with Mileage as low as 1 Km/L) these cars guzzle gas like its nobodies business.
Thus, resulting in increase of demand for gas. Now, the demand increases but supply is limited which results in rise of fuel prices. Okay..now the demand increase was due to the Benz class (Benzs’ high fuel consumption) but the rise in price is common…ie for both Benz class and others and not just the Benzes.
The price rise may not effect the Merc guy, but it sure does the aam aadmi….
Was just wondering how unfair!
PS: Probably, there are other reasons as well. But sure can’t refute the above.
