The New Year is already 10 days old, so I thought I’ll give myself a status update (Yeah..Yeah, I work in IT) on my recently made but unposted resolutions.
Resolution 1: Quit Smoking-Once and for all.
Status: Doing surprisingly well, actually too well…doing so well that quit not once but thrice already in the first 10 days..and all the 3 times have been ‘once and for all’ ..Planning to quit again tommorow..and then again the day after…
Resolution 2: Find myself a girlfriend.
Status: Hehe..This one’s actually a veteran, been on my resolutions list for some years now…its like that player who regularly gets picked into the squad…but never gets any action. But on a positive note…I think there will be some development on this front soon..or so I hope…’Hope’ is such a beautiful support structure..
Resolution 3: Be Kind, Helpful and Friendly.
Update: I was kind enough to treat myself to 2 movies in as many days.
Resolution 4: The amount of time…(what!?…still thinking about the ‘helpful’ and ‘friendly’ part of the 3rd resolution?..uhm..well..I can only be one thing at a time…and definitely I am no saint…anyways I didnt say I’ll be all the three together…and…I think ‘kind’ is a decent start). Yeah, So I was saying, considering the amount of time by which my thesis has got delayed…I realised its not gonna happen unless I strongly resolve to do it. So, at #4-Finish Thesis.
Update: Now, since this one is a first timer…unlike the 2nd resolution..I shall come back to it later during the year…or maybe the one after.
Resolution 5: Will not do or say anything Racist.
Update: Since Kangaroos don’t like being called monkeys..uh..ok..peace.
FYI last time I sang “Sexy Lady” & “Wasn’t me”, I’ll also sang “Spinning around ” and “Can’t get you outta my head”..just to show that I hear to music by all kinds of skins…and my genre is not just asian or black.
On my last visit to the Zoo after visiting the apes enclosure I asked for the Kangaroos as well..its not my fault there are no kangaroos in Hyderabad Zoo…Im not a racist.
Finally, I know a Black Merc is irresistible but being a non racist person I would consider a white one as well before I buy..whenever that will be.
